"The Yard" is open to anyone and everyone who wants to grow in their faith, show God's love and have a ton of fun. "The Yard" stands for "Young and Radical Disciples" as being a disciple in today's world is definitely radical!!! Come check us out and see what we are all about.
1Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual[a] act of worship. 2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12: 1-2 NIV)

Who Comes to Youth Group? Anyone who is in Jr. High (6th-8th grade) or Sr. High (9th-12th) grade. We typically meet on Sunday night with Jr. High meeting from 5pm-7pm and Sr. High meeting from 7pm-9pm.
What do we do? Typically, a youth calendar will include topic nights, mission nights, road trips, weekend trips, parties and we even lead worship for the congregation. The fall calendar is loaded on the website (click here to go to the youth calendar). All updates will be posted on the website so check the calendar for the latest updates.
Details on the individual youth group activities can be found in the description field on the calendar. Some youth group activities, such as service projects or slip n slide, are combined Jr High/Sr. High so watch the calendar for details for each event.
The E.F.F.L. (Eastminster Fantasy Football League) returns for year 3 of play. Last year, Alison Topper took the title from year 1 winner Erin Kerchner but who knows who will win in year 3.
How does it work? Simple, you make a team out of players from the NFL. Players are put into groups in which you pick from. After picking your team, you play against other youth in the youth group plus some leaders and teachers.
