Welcome to Eastminster!

In 2007, Eastminster is celebrating its 50^th anniversary.  We celebrate the past to find the base for bringing God the glory for today and tomorrow.  In 2007, Eastminster is a congregation with a very diverse membership and a healthy demographic spread across all ages.  Faith in God and the redeeming grace that God gives us every day, made human in our Lord Jesus, spurs us on to acts of committed Christian practice so that our faith comes alive in all that we do.  In addition to caring for one another, members of Eastminster are involved in mission projects here in York, in other parts of the country, and even in other parts of the world.

We are members of the Presbyterian Church(USA).  As such we recognize learning, prayer and the study of scripture to be a life long endeavor.  Our Christian Education program stretches from pre-school to adults of every age in an effort to nurture people with the spiritual food that they need to grow in faith.  John Calvin defined “true worship” as obedience to the will of God.  We are always searching to discern God’s will for our ministry and our community.
